Help with radiator question.

I was wondering if the radiator is the same whether it's an automatic or manual?? Reason i'm asking is because i was going to buy a radiator off ebay and some are saying for auto's. So are they misinformed or do i need to venture somewhere else? Thanks.

I would think the auto radiator has ports for trans cooling lines?

That's the only difference, trans cooler ports on the radiator. Actually, not sure if they used different radiators between AT and MT models, but I can't access FAST right now.

They do. But the only time you would run into a problem is if you wanted to use a 5-sopeed rad on an auto. Auto rad on a 5-speed is fine.

I bought a radiator off ebay and i installed it today. With a new thermostat from autozone. For some reason the new radiator is getting super hot and smoking from the inside and my car temp guage is going up . Wondering wat could be the problems. If the new radiator is bad or is there a clog somewhere. Thanks

If the radiator is getting hot, then your cooling system is flowing.
Do the fans come on when the temp gauge starts to climb up?
If not, you probably have cooling fan issues.
Motors, relays, sensors.

i will try to see if they come on when it starts to smoke. Also if i run the air conditioning or heater both the fans spin then and still over heats and radiator smokes. But i will look to see if they do turn on when it gets hot.
