I just got a stillen lip kit. Now i dont know what color to paint it. I have a white maxima. I was thinking of painting the kit black but dont know how it would look or should i paint it white just like the max. If anyone has pictures of them on a white maxima or cf kit can you please post. Match it to your car. Black will give you that carbon fiber wanna be look because carbon fiber isn't a pure black. Thats just my opinion but I always say do what YOU think looks best to you. You're the one who has to wake up everyday and look at it.

I am a fan of the black white contrast. But then again I like a performance look to my cars.

 

Does anyone have pictures so i could get an idea of how black and white would look ?

 

matching the color is nice looking but it you really get into the black on with contrast like get black wheels, and maybe paint the side mirrors black,and some other stuff maybe. i think that would cool pritty sweet. then you wouldnt look like every body else on this org.

i say match the car or you should have gone with a cf lip kit from ionic dynamics if your gonna go with a cf hood go all the way cf lip kit trunk hood door pillars maybe even mirrors if you can find them

 

i would love too but cf is not cheap! The lip kit is used and i got it for a good price.

 

understand where your commen from on that one but i would highly reccomend not doing cf with black lip kit. like someone said before the cf is not a true dark black, imo its gonna look gaudy if you do cf n black. just my 2 cents. you could do the black bumber lights n headlights... black euro tails... i had them on my last max! loved um to death!

paint it body color. when i see pics of a different colored body kit the first thing that comes to my mind is that it looks cheap. body color is much more clean.

 

White it right!...lol =) Paint it to match ..black to black or purple to nurple...just match it! But in the end just be happy with it yourself...afterall, you're the one drivin' it! Lata!

yea im gettin a front lip but my cars theme is black. The car is white but i got dtm tails, black headlights, black bumper lights, so just depends on what ur tryin to achiveve

Different strokes for different folks ... I say do what YOU want to do. If it doesn't look good you only have to find a mirror to find the problem. I am sure it will look good either way.

dont go playing switch-swatch...match them up with same color as car body.

theres a difference between cf and white and black and white. save yourself some trouble and just paint it white.

 

Awwe now how we get to white is right? Its 2007 i would think that people would mature and realize we are all the same.

 

If my parts werent CF Id go all white. To me the black kit on white car just makes it look cheap and unfinished, just like all the ricers out there that buy front bumpers and etc. but never paint them.
When I first began the two tone look I caught a lot of flack for it (kit), but now that its completed with the hood, trunk, pillars, and mirror covers etc. I think Im able to pull of the two tone because of the CF.

Heres some older pics of my car. I havent had a chance to take some nice newer pics. Only things that have changed really are the headlights, grill, tails, window trim and the rerouted charge pipe.




Just an FYI, the car on Ionics site is mine.

 

The reason why i dont know what to do is because i was thinking of changing the color of the whole car down the line. Im thinking a nice blue.

Also on another note im thinking of buying some 5zigen bronze rims. Does anyone have bronze wheels on a white maxima. Or can anyone photoshop those rims on a white one.

 

So your going to do, white, black, and then with bronze wheels?

 

For now until i choose what color im gonna do. Thats why im asking if someone could photoshop it on a white maxima if the rims look good on a white maxima then im repaint the car white.
