this is a very simple question that could have been figured out with very little research.

What is the recommended tire size for the 01s? Will it fill the tire gap a little better than the stock 15s?

they are A33B 17's but not TE's. I like the TE's though, but IMHO they would look better on a black max instead of my white max.

Hey aih98 those were the wheels I wanted, but i was getting a sweet deal on the 01's ($150 for the set) so I had to grab them. Anything looks better then the stock 96 honeycomb GLE wheels.

im gonna hijack this a bit.

an ad the in paper recently surfaced for, and i quote:

FOR SALE: 06 G35 or 350Z 17'' OEM Rims with TIRES, TPS Included. $375.

seems too good to be true. 4 OEM alloys with tires for under 400 bux? i called the guy and the tires are 225/50/17 front and 235/50/17 rear. he said they are 60% tread.

something about this isnt right, but maybe its just my paranoid nature.

is there any way to test if a rim is slightly bent without putting it on a machine?

are the 06 G35 alloys the same as the 350z? why would he say OR in the ad >

i assume there will be no fitment issues with these on my 97. am i going to need spacers or any other things, other than an alignment, after i put em on?

he says TPS included...wtf is TPS? tire pressure sensors? stems?

but most importantly!!

could these be fake knockoffs? is there a way to tell if an alloy is legit or not? a code of numbers or symbol printed somewhere on the metal?
