Front License Plate Removal

Has anyone removed the front license plate bracket? And if so does it look alright? And finally how do you do it?

... u get a screw driver and unscrew the 2 screws that hold it in... just go look at it and u will feel really stupid for even asking.
Cars look good with no front plates, but its illegal in my state to not have one so I got no choice.

The screws are under the plate... you cant see them with the plate on. Take off the plate (also with screwdriver) then you will see where the screws are.

as for it looking alright... picture your car with no front plate lol I have no front plate ( Quebec, Canada) and it looks like a normal car with no front plate.. personally, I like it because the car looks cleaner.. but that's all..
however, if you have a front plate, I wouldn't suggest removing it unless you want frequent stops by ze po-po!

I dont need it. It was just there and looked in the way I didnt know if it was molded into the front bumber or something because I have seen a lot of max's with it and no license plate.

Sorry to highjack the thread, but do you want to sell the bracket if you don't need it? Just wanted to give it a try

1 problem with removing it is there will be a lot of built up dirt and a "shadow".

FYI, 95-96 plate holders are different from 97-99 ones.

A little cleaning and waxing cleared up the dirt and shadow from mine.

No stops yet in my 1 1/2 years of owning the car

Didn't even get mentioned when the cop was inspecting hit and run damage on the front of the car.

I love FL no front plates needed. Having a front plate just make the front look ugly in my opinion.
