It did not throw codes. I took it to the transmission shop on Irving Park and Melvina, cuz I thought surely it had to be the transmission. To my amusement, they told me they disconnected the exhaust from the engine and it was running perfectly fine. I said okay, thanks, and drove the car back by my house, which is less than 5 min away. Took off the exhaust the next day; started it and sure enough it was running fine. I could rev it to redline with ease. At that time my Budget Ypipe had just come in and I put it on. I also had my dad take the cat to his work since he has access to pressurized air and cleaned out the sand clog, but we did not gut it, some of the honeycombs are still in there. Anyhoo, after a few days after I had the O2 bung welded in the test pipe that came with the Ypipe, I put in the test pipe for tuning reasons. Since then, never had that problem. Good luck with yours. If you need anything else, let me know.

Sure.........I just wanted to hear it from personal experience more than anything. It sounds like the problem is similar but yet a bit different too.

Yeap, tried a fuel pump from a working car...........It's all in the first post.
Just to weigh out my problems. Is there any that has experienced a stall issue related to an UDP??

If you already swapped out the engine, but like you said you kept the old UDP. So its either gotta be the UDP or the exhaust, but dont mind me, Im just thinking logically back at step one.

May be a dumb suggestion but did you make sure everything has a good ground? I am not sure if this would relate to your specific problem but did you ground your starter and trans with a good ground? This is a common problem.

Did you change the flywheel? A Crank position sensor can deffinatley cause issues. Not a max but I swapped an engine on a kia and the new engine didn't have the timing ring on the flywheel of the engine we purchased and the car ran but had very bad studdering and missfire but no codes. I had to remove the tranny and swap the flywheel. Other people have had damaged flywheels causing similar issues. Good luck and keep your 50
