I got down the road sqeak sqeak...from the drivers back shock...I took it out and can't get it to make the noice....i cleaned everything and yet still makes that horrible sound..anyone have a clue if it would be the shock or just the rubber making that noise..

 

you sure it's not the spring making a squeek when it's compressed and rubbing up against the shock?

 

Strut mount. Mine dose the same thing. The rear ones are really easy to replace. Take it off yourself, it's only 3 bolts, and take it to a shop with a new mount. They will replace it for you and you can put it back on with minimal cost. There is no adjustment in the rear end so you don't have to worry about realignment like you would in the front.
