Moisture Problem

I noticed my rear passenger floor board was wet. I wiped it up but it continued to stay wet. I pulled up the seats and carpet and found a giant puddle of water under the carpet(the floor board on the rear passenger seat). I took out the back seat and found the foam underneath to be slilghlty damp with some rust showing. I've also recently had my windows fog up on the inside and actually had ice show up on the inside when it was cold.

Well, I tested the drainage hoses from my sunroof and found that one was clogged....after sticking some wire and compressed air I was unable to clog it, but I don't see how that water would have gotten there. I also pulled out the top part of the back seat looking for water trails...nothing. It is a if someone poured water in my floor board and some under my back seat. I pulled up the driver side passenger seat too today and found the carpet foam underneath to be slighly damp. ....so either water is coming in from the back seat area and down in the floor board...or water is coming in from the floor air vents...im at a loss......

aren't there plugs in the trunk and under the back seat? if so ... chek em! not sure where the sun roof rails drain to, but it'd be very odd for it to be the back seat.

yea ... if it's green, it's maybe mold. yak!

with the hump under the front of the front seat i wouldn't think it be wet in the back. it would have to be wet in the front also. its probably a drain plugged up somewhere

At this point you should remove all the seats, carpet, and foam and dry it thoroughly. Then only put your driver seat in and drive for a few days and see what happens. If you don't find the leak your car will be a smelly meldew mess.

well, if it were the heater core...it would be anti-freeze..? ...and this is just plain old ugly nasy annoying water.

Ive removed the carpet as far up to just under the dash where it looked absolutely painful to remove. Ive driven the car around with the carpet rolled up in the back and havent seen anymore water. However, after a heavy rain, the windows were slighlty fogged up again. I'm gonna get the water hose out today and spray around and see if anything happens....

well, i sprayed the top of my sunroof with a hose and it leaks on the backside of the sunroof towrds the trunk.....it appears as though the sunroof leaks, the water got backed up from one of the drains and dripped into the floor?...which doesnt make sense the way the seats and sunroof are positioned...but oh well. I guess I need to get the seal around the sunroof replaced? i tried cleaning it, but still leaks....i have no idea how to do this...maybe ill call the glass doctor and see if they do anyhting close to this
