Need help with slight misfire!

Hey guys, I have a 96 GLE with 152k. I just swapped in a new motor due to the previous owner over heating the engine causing a bad head gasket.
Anyhoo.. the new motor went in without much fuss and has 140k.
It starts and idles beautifully. In fact, the motor runs like new.

I have an annoying knock/misfire that occurs at idle once the car warms up. The car idles around 700rpm and never "hunts" for idle.
Just a mild misfire felt through the steering wheel with a little jolt and returns to run perfectly.

I pulled the codes and it returned O2 sensor bank 1/1
and the good ole Knock sensor code.

I reset them a couple times now and even with the CE light off the slight mis is felt through the steering wheel.

I've driven the car about 107 miles now after the motor sat on a junk yard shelf for about 6 months. I filled it with 87 octane wawa fuel and added some Lucas injector cleaner at that time.

I have been driving it rather aggressively giving it the ole "italian Tune up" and the car dosent show any hesitation .. very smooth power..

Any pointers as to how to get rid of this misfire???

ummm....take your useless comments elsewhere...

anyways...
try putting the correct gasoline in the engine (91 or 93 octane). that might help and that also might get rid of the knock sensor code. if putting in that gas doesnt clear the knock sensor code then replace the knock sensor.

fat kid you have nothing to offer.. please go away.
As for using the correct fuel, I will certainly try that. At the rate i'm accelerating, it shouldnt be long before this tank is history.

Sometimes you guys have no sense of humer! Lighten up!
Back to the post. Did you replace the O2 sensor? I would think that has something to do with it.
That is also the symptoms I had, with no codes, before I cleaned the TB and IAC.
It would seem the obvious to check: plugs, coil packs, injectors firing.

My 95 Maxima just started this slight misfire also. At idle, it sputters very slightly. The tachometer jumps around 100 rpms. This only happens sometimes and in bursts.
