Clutch engagement makes exhaust hit bumper!?

Whats up everyone. On Sunday i finally had my clutch replaced. The one in there was pretty much shredded to pieces. While taking the tranny apart i noticed the axles boots were busted and the rack and pinion boots were also busted.

I went out and bought brand new axles ($136 for both with lifetime warranty) and new rack and pinion boots.

We assembled everything back up and then the car wont start. Come to find out the crank sensor on the tranny went bad all of a sudden, so it was replaced.

So finally the car starts and i take it for a drive. First thing i noticed is this knocking noise coming from the back everytime the clutch is engaged from a stop. So im like wtf? I had my brother engage it while i watched from the back and sure enough at the point where the clutch engages, its causing the exhaust to shake and hit against the bumper. It seems like the whole exhaust system is moving from the flex on the y pipe all the way back.

I know my alignment is off from changing the rack and pinion boots but what would cause this? Also i am missing a rubber hanger on one side of the exhaust but its been missing for a while and this problems has never occured?

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

The mounts are bad. Thats my next thing to take care of. Being that my old clutch was really really bad (the clutch disc was stuck to the flywheel) would a new clutch create this type of problem?

I had an exedy stage 1 before and i replaced it with a spec stage 2. I also have cattman headers and greddy sp2. Tomorrow im going to see if i can get new exhaust hangers and see if it helps.

A stiffer clutch will jump the engine around more.
