Key buzzer question

So when you have your door open with the keys in the ignition, there should be a buzzing sound, right? well my maxiapd use to do this but then one day the keys were in and the door open and the buzzer just kinda slowly faded out. Nothing else seems to be affected, the interior lights, horn, etc still work, even the light around the ingnition. Is there a fuse that needs to be replaced or what?

The door chime box is mounted on the pannel under the steering colum. Two screws takes the pannel off, you'll see the little box with a 2 wire lead plugged into it. Replace it and your door chime will work once again.
