Window getting sloooooowwwww

My driver's window is taking longer and longer to roll up. (It seems fine going down.) It's starting to make me nervous. Is this likely to be the regulator going out, or is there something I can grease up to make it work better?

If its just slow, try putting some lube on the window tracks. They make special rubber lube. NOT WD-40 or something like it.

look for some rubber or something that may be slowing the window down. The regulator just breaks.... so i dont think that would be a prob.

usually happens moreso when its cold likely, if thats the case its moreso the resistance of the hardened window seals coupled with a weakening motor, and also as matty said lubing the tracking will help alot as well.

I lube mine all the time especially since I live in the desert area. Remove the door panel. Roll the window up(make sure you plug the power window control back so they work). Spray just in the window channels. Just use some type of spray lube, not wd40. I use motorcycle chain lube cause it stays on better and I had it laying around from my bike days. After you do one window you will do the others cause you will see how much faster it is.

I got some silicone lube and sprayed it in the channels in the window opening. (I didn't bother to take off the door panel.) It seems better now, and I'm happy.

Thanks, guys.

Down its easier then unsnap window control from door panel then plug it back in so u can raise window up and down while you grease it.
