Headlight pushed back

K this is probably a simple fix but im an idiot. If you look at the photo you can see my headlight and grille are pushed back like 1/2" from where they should be. Is there an adjustment to line them up again or is there no fixing this. Its just annoying because the hood now overlaps the passenger headlight and part of the grille by a noticeable amount.

Yes you can adjust that. There is a bolt at the back of the headlight. It's more of a threaded rod with a black plastic 8mm nut at the end. Your headlight beam must be horrible.

Were you involved in a front end collision?

I was and mine looks the same way.

You can see the radiator support damage on the passenger side there.

I wouldnt call it a collision. i had one of those big garbage containers at my house an i whacked the bottom of it with my fog light area. H/o, a picture says a thousand words, lol. Im waiting for the new bumper till april or may then i get the whole car painted with the stillen kit.

So that black rod thingy can push it back out? Or is front end damage the cause?

The rod will pull the lense of the headlight back out. It will not pull the grill back out though. After looking at the pics again it's really hard to tell whats going on because the bumper damage would not cause the headlight issue.

It can only adjust the headlight relative to the radiator support. If yours is shaped like stock, then it shouldn't be a problem.

Maybe tommorow i'll take the bumper off and take some pics. Its either that or my hood not correctly aligned but somehow i doubt its the hood.
