Hey guys, I have this aftermarket alarm horn laying around and I'd like to see if I could install it to get that chirp when I lock my doors. Does anyone know of another sticky to this mod because last time I checked the original link was dead...(vqpower.com)

You could tap into the relay in your trunk for a signal and run a relay to the horn.

 

same thing i did. Got a buzzer from radio shack...sounds great. It's called a buzzer but it actually beeps when your lights flash. One of my favorite & inexpensive mods!

 

alright, thanks, i think I saw that at radioshack in one of those pull out drawers, you wouldn't happen to have a sound of it or something in close comparison? That'd be awesome.

 

You don't want to do that.

Unless of course, you like one/two long honks everytime you lock/unlock your car.
