i am about to replace my axles, but i don't know where i should get them from... get it at the 'zone, or are there better aftermarket axles available??

I'm not 100% positive, but I think the axle's from VLSD maxima's are stronger/beefier than non VLSD axles... just not sure if they fit...

 

The driver side axle for the vlsd will only work with the vlsd tranny. The standard will only fit with the non vlsd tranny. I just got my tranny replaced with a vlsd version and had to buy a new driver side axle because of it. The passenger side is the same however.

 

Auto Zone. They are pretty cheap. ~$69 + core
