Downshifting and the VB mod

Does the VB mod also make downshifts quicker? Or just like the 1-2, 2-3, 3-4

No, but you can feel the car downshifting alot harder/firmer. My favorite is the shift into first as you are about to stop at a light.

O, well I was driving the max tonight and it seemed to take forever to downshift. Like the car would surge really slowly and then take off like a rocket. Is there anyway to make the downshifts faster?

Yes buy the JWT TCU (transmission Control Unit) upgrade. Check cattman's site www.cattman.com for more info.

Thanks Nismo. I dont really wanna do anything to the car right now because I'm sharing it with my mom for about a year until I buy my own car. So I'm either gonna get the car or a 95-99 5 speed SE. I'm just wondering in case I end up getting an auto.
