Question about replacing exhaust manifold?

Hi.
I would like to replace the rear exhaust manifold because of leak.
Should I buy OEM manifold with OEM gasket? Or can I Just go to local autoparts shops? The exhaust manifold kit at the local shops includes the new gasket, heat shield, and bolts. By the way I don't know whether the OEM manifold include the left parts or not. Anyone tell me which one will be better?

Thanks.

What is wrong with the current manifolds? Are they cracked or is it just a leak from a bad/blown gasket?

Cost of the stock rear is $116.61 at Courtesy, Dave B will give you a better price.

IMO an exhaust manifold is an exhaust manifold, doesn't really matter where it comes from. Hell, go to classifieds here and pick up the stock manifolds of anyone who has installed headers, or go to a junkyard and pick one up. $15 around here.

I've been at the repair shop to check my engine which is 133k on it. The car spend too much gas other than a normal condition. It is like 13~14miles/gal(premium). They checked the engine, telling me the rear exhaust manifold is leaking so air comes into the exhaust pipe in which O2 sensor is set up. That could give wrong information to O2 sensor. By the way they weren't sure that there is crack of the manifold or the gasket problem. So I just plan to replace whole parts.

Thanks.

So you're willing to buy a new exhaust manifold and blindly replace it rather than actually diagnose where the exhaust leak is coming from?

Have you confirmed that there is an exhaust leak, or is that just what they said?

Get a second opinion too.
