Is this clutch ok to re-use?

Blowing up the latest parts car by strapping it down in the garage FTW!! But stupid me, I'm well aware that with a bone stock 3.0 you can't attempt to short-shift second in a brake stand, even if the clutch grabs the engine will stall, but I figured "meh, the garage floor is pretty damn slick" But, no go, there was a 10 second period where I foolishly thought the tires were still spinning...... until I heard the bangs and realized the smoke coming out from the fenders now looked a little different, which sucks because I wanted to hold it in first until a tire popped and than I was gonna keep throwing on sets of tires until something major went. Meh, oh well, next time I geuss.

I got it on video also, but have no way to get VHS uploaded.

yea ... i think it'll be ok to reuse ... just make sure you don't tourqe the bolts too tight, might break sumtin! LOL

Nice mate! When I used to ride (I had a 600 R YZF) we used to take track tires and do burnouts. Longest one I ever left was about a block long. I bet your garage still stinks ... lol

yes, it still smells.............. Like CLUTCH! It permeated the place with the most horrible smell, I'm not looking forward to rebuilding the trans, lol, I'll probably wear a mask and bring it to the pressure washer station first.

Ha, nice clutch.

I think I can do one better though...(of course, this is a rotor, not a clutch):

Yep, found that hanging on the wall at a local shop where a friend of mine likes to hang out. Turns out the lady 'heard some noise' so brought it in for a checkup.

The face of rotor came off independantly of the tophat, which was still sitting on the hub.

Apparently the other side was fine
