Steering wheel not straight

I'm not sure if the steering wheel needs to be adjusted or the front tire alignment is messed up, but normally, if you want the car to go perfectly straight, your steering wheel is also "straight"...like not turned at all left or right, perfectly in the center. On my '97 GXE, for the car to stay in a straight path, the steering wheel has to be turned to the left a bit (I didn't notice this while I was driving until I looked down), and it looks like it would if you took a really wide turn to the left. I mean it drives fine, and didn't feel weird until I looked down and noticed it, but how would I go about fixing this?
