Hey guys I want to put 95 GLE seats in the 98 GXE. My friend said the wiring should already be there for the power seat function. Is this true? or will I have to put new wires myself?

Not always. BlueBOB on here got leather I30 seats to put in his 95 GXE. The wiring was there for the drivers seat but not the passenger. We had to tap into the wiring for the drivers seat and run it to the passenger. The wiring was there when i swapped leather into my 99 though. And some Maximas didnt have a power drivers seat either, in which case you'd have to tap into the fuse panel.

 

This one only has a power drivers seat, no power passenger

 

SE and GLE come prewired. GXEs dont (only driver). Run a power and a ground. you can tap into the drivers seat since both prob wont be moving at the same time. I would run an independant one though.

 

I have a 95 SE with power driver seat ("Sport Cloth" no leather) and I checked under my passenger seat while I was detailing it. I even ripped up the carpet and I didn't see any wires.
