it's normal. I was thinking the same thing when mine came in. I never had time to hook them up so I'm just gonna sell them. Good lucky hooking them up.

You have to place the small rings under the base of each needle, it's kinda complex, but read the directions over a few times and you should be fine.

I've had mine in for quite a while and I love them.

here's another pic

yeah, you don't get much in the kit. i would suggest you send your kit and gauge cluster to to importintelligence and have them wire it up. that's what i did. the pic is attached.

These are not that bad to install, just read the directions several times to make sure you know what you're doing and be very slow and methodical.

The only tip I can give is to take a drill bit and enlarge the hole in the gauge face that the needle shaft goes through. Make it just big enough that the rings fit flush with the gauge face and you should have no problems.

I've had mine since they started offering them and they don't stick at all.

i followed this advice when i purchased my kit, but ended up breaking my gauge cluster. IMO the directions that come with the kit are fair at best (esp. if you've been spoiled by very detailed directions some of the org members provide for various mods). then again, i'm relatively new to being a home mechanic.

i think if feel your mechanical skills are good, then you should attempt this project on your own. if not, you run the risk of damaging your gauge cluster. do a search on indiglo needles and read other posts that have been written on this subject. it may give you additional background to help you make a better decision on whether to try the install yourself.

if you screw up, a new gauge cluster is fairly expensive--several hunderd if purchased at the dealer, a used one is about $110. it is good to learn by trying new things, but be prepared to live with the consequences.
