Yes, legally.

If you want the clear look, get high temp gray primer ($5) and spray your bulbs.

They will be pretty much invisible but still light up amber.

I believe the tail lights were 1156s.

Off bulbs.com they are like 2 bucks a pair.

You dont have to have amber in the rear. You can use red also.

In most states the law is it has to be amber or red. If you are talking about the lil 194 bulb that goes in the rear reflector portion I just left the bulb out of that and sealed the opening up. IMO looks better at night not lit up at all (even with stock tails) and unless the cop/inspector knows that the car came with a bulb in that location you should be ok.

It's the law because some people mistaken the white lights for reverse lights or something in that nature.

I have clear corners and red/clear tails. Never changed the bulbs to amber, never pulled over as of yet.

yes you will need amber OR red as a turn signal. i was cited for having a non-colored bulb on my red/clears.

I have the chrome/amber bulbs and I love them. They have a chrome on the glass (so they don't reflect when they are off) and shine through a deep amber when lit, not a ugly light orange at all. Pick up a set of these. They come in other colors as well. I'll have to check the invoice of the place I got them... can't remember right now.

I would go with amber if i were you. In my red/clears red bulbs look pink when they are lit, but yours may be different so do whatever you want.
