I can hear a loud knock coming from the front passenger side of the car (somewhere around the wheel area I think).

It usually happens when I am coming to a stop (when the car is almost at a complete stop it makes this noise, just once)
I can also hear it when I switch from drive to reverse or vice-versa.

I hear this noise the most when I am turning the car around in a lot.


If anyone know what this could be please tell me.
I need this fixed asap.

 

I'm thinking it's the LCA bushing.

 

or perhaps the a balljoint? Jack up the car and shake around the suspension till you feel some play in it. Happened to me in my old Accord, freaked me out. Showed it to my neighbor who's a mechanic and he told me the following needs to be changed and offered me $1500 for it.

Apparently I hit a curb

Ball joints
Tierod
Both control arms
Strut and spring
Wheel
Rack and Pinion and a bunch of other things

Took it to a more reputable guy and he changed upper and lower ball joints and that fixed it

 

fixed it.
The 2 bottom bolts on the strut were loose.

A few weeks ago I was replacing my cv boots. I guess I forgot to tighten the right side.
How the hell did I do that?
