Question? About ECU code 3-04 and Air Filter

I'm getting a 3-04 Code Knock Sensor.. what would cause this.. and now I dont use lower grade gas I put 91 here in LA.. and now how do I go about clean the JWT Pop charger?

The FSM lists the following as the diagnostic procedure for the knock sensor:

1) Loosen and retighten engine grounds in front of intake manifold collector

2) With engine off, check for continuity between terminal 1 of knock sensor connector and ECM terminal 64. If there is a short, repair the harness of connector.

3) Check resistance between terminal 1 of knock sensor connector and ground. Values should be between 500-620 k-Ohm. If not within spec, replace knock sensor.




As for cleaning the cone, use the K&N cleaning kit and follow the directions on the box.
