how much do you think this will cost me to repair? I told her wtf happened and she denied she hit it but was like "I didnt do it...but get an estimate and ill help you pay half..." Wtf??? lol
anyways, im going to make her pay it all or burn her house down. She shouldnt be living in a 4 bedroom house ALONE and driving a SURBURBAN in the first place.
Ah, that sucks dude! At least it looks like the bumper survived just fine!
If she said she will pay half that means that she is basically admitting to it. If she really didnt do it then why the hell would she offer to help? Also, just wondering - why are you so sure that it was her? Typical backing out of the driveway situation, Im guessing?
On a slightly different note: first of all, I dont see how her choice of transportation, housing, or family has anything to do with this incident. Secondly, be careful what you post on the internet. Imagine that her house does catch on fire tomorrow... guess who will be the prime suspect... maybe they person that threatened to do it?

I know it was her because I measured HER bumber from floor and it matched up to the marks left on my car, also the marking patterns. Also, where its parked in the pic, on other side is her drive way thats where she backs out.
gona go get an estimate at a body shop.
word.
I have pics of her rear bumper corner with scuff marks and height of damage+ her bumper.
Besides, this old lady wakes up at 3am everyday to go to work, im pretty sure she was half-*** awake when it happened because it was discovered in the morning.

man i think you should be happy she offered to pay half. you don't know she did it and you definitely don't have any solid proof. maybe someone leaving her house did it, maybe she did, maybe it was someone else all together. you can't proove anything. whats up with a little respect/empathy for an old lady?

Thats going to cost some doh...To get the rust fixed on my rear quarter panel was at like 800 for it....I dont think PDR is going to work on that one. So its gonna be at least that or more.
and why i'm saying give her a break is you don't know everyones circumstances. dragging an old lady that lives alone and goes to work every morning at 3 into court? real classy.
maybe she can't afford to pay the whole thing. maybe she can't afford to have it on her record. maybe it would cause her to lose her license, not be able to be at work at 3 in the morning, and lose her house. maybe she didn't do it. maybe she did it and is a lying b***h. all i'm saying is for someone with no proof maybe you should be glad to get half.
lol... i'm quick to judge? how about you prove that she did it in court. let me know how that turns out.

1. She's in her 50's.
2. She owns 2 houses.
3. Divorced, another woman who took half of everything from her husband. (And dont start, you'll seen plenty of these hags in Los angeles)
4. Drives a car she cant even parallel park.
5. She is very rude. A person i'd label a "*****".
6. I'd could care less if she loses her license. People like this should NOT be allowed to drive if they cant take responsibility.
7. If you're going to wave the fact that she offered to pay HALF when it was NOT HER FAULT as being guilty, then you're just as much in denial as her.
get off your high horse dude.
dude that does suck... thats like the worst place to get hit at... like one of the only panels you cant just replace! its a cut n weld job if thats the route you want... i got rearended and it was that same panel n i made um cut it up... but yeah the dude with the paintless dent repair idea is right. go there first... it didnt really crease anywhere so it should be easy to pop out, hell you could prolly do most of it yourself... but yeah, im betten 300-500 depending on where ya go for body work n paint...

First, she stated that she did not do it, Then she say she will pay half, This lady Is admitting her half appoligy by paying for the damage she did. I would try to confront her to tell the truth and (Why would you pay for this If you did not do it), because she did It. I would burn her house down and then flaten all of her tires then do the Rock bottom on top of her SUV.

^^^ your an idiot for suggesting this, even as a joke. get your dad and /or mom and the cops to go over there with you and confront her and i garuntee she'll own up to hitting your car. just be cool and talk to your parents and tell them the situation, a cool head will get you alot further than a hot one.

yea and take 12390123090983243 pictures before she has an opportunity to cover/clean anything up.
take pictures of everything: her car, your car, her driveway, her bumper, where your car was, the street, the lights, everything. i mean everything. you should be able to show a total stranger every square inch of the surrounding 40 feet with your photos.

1. unfortunately, the car is probably totalled. that's a ~$2000 dent right there. that RQP is a royal PITA to replace and there's going to be no way to fix that without replacing it. the metal is stretched too far to hammer the dent out and straighten without using a gallon of bondo or fiberglass.
2. best way to 'prove' she did it.. is the car still in the same place as in the pics, or can you put it in the identical place?
take pics of the car, position on the street, and position relative to her vehicle and driveway.
Is the car parked right where she'd likely hit it backing out of her driveway? stupid mistake on your part. parking behind a suburban is just asking to get hit. you car is so small, they can't see you at all back there if they're at an angle. completely hidden behing the huge *** of the truck.
In the future, find a better parking space.
now... take some measurements of where the dent is on your car and compare it to the height of her rear bumper. if they match- (the 4 stripe marks look like the exact trim on the rear bumper of a mid-90s suburban: http://images.autotrader.com/images/..._A.562x421.jpg ) then you got her....
That'll be easy enough to prove in small claims if you gotta go that far.
But the unfortunate part is that I'm going to bet your car is going to be totalled. the repair cost to fix that RQP is NOT cheap at all. you have to cut the body into pieces and re-weld the entire thing.

cause im twice your age and have been through this like 7 times. if your so sure its her fault, you should've contacted the police the day you noticed the damage, not wait around a month and then cry in here about it. get the highest etimate you can, then get her money. case closed.
Just confront her in a calmly manner. I mean, yeah, if she DID do it, it's kinda stupid for her to shrug it off with as much damage she caused. Yes, you should have confronted her first. With as much evidence that you seem to have acquired, you should have gotten the police if she denied it. Honestly, there's no reason someone would just offer to pay half of the damage if they didn't do it. Especially with you saying she's a b**** and whatnot. If I were you, I would file a police report and get it all over with. See what you can get out of the whole ordeal, and if you don't get what you wanted, then it probably means you just waited too long. Good luck though.
