Raced a Silver '01 M3 yesterday....

...and got SMOKED.

I was on 65 North going to Indy when I noticed a silver M3 rolling about 70mph 3 lanes over. So I come up next to him and hit the brakes to go side by side and kept taunting him by nudging forward and backwards until he bit the line and gunned it. I floored it too...but by the time I hit 120mph, he must have been at 150mph 1/4 mile down the road ahead of me until his tailights disapeared. No ones taillights ever disapeared from me....but man, that was the first time I got smoked REAL bad and enjoyed it....

THE M3

Acceleration (0-60 mph): 5.0 sec.
Base Number of Cylinders: 6
Base Engine Size: 3.2 liters
Base Engine Type: Inline
Horsepower: 333 hp @ 7900 rpm
Torque: 262 ft-lbs. @ 4900 rpm

All that and great looks too. I saw one driving between Houston and San Antonio TX one weekend blood red (not the typical German red/orange). Rolled down the window before I taunted him a little so that I could hear him smoke me. I couldn't hear him for all my mods which did me no good there. I knew what the result would be but I had to see a stock vehicle take off like a dream. Two hours later, I am in my father-in-law's 96 M3 having fun and telling him about the new one.

I hear ya guys. That thing looks fast PARKED. Cool thing is that the older generation 95-00 are awesome cars and not too expensive for the amount of stock performance. But of course, my Max is cool enough for me now....
