Windshield Wiper Removal

Does anyone have any experience removing their windshield wipers? Mine have become severly faded and I was thinking about trying to improve the look of them. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Pop the black caps, unbolt the 12mm bolt, pull off. Repeat in reverse order to put back on.
