quick coil pack question

quick coil pack question

Do ignition coil packs from a 2000 maxima fit a 1999?

The fronts will fit, but the rear valve cover of the 5th gen is different (one mounting point per coil as opposed to two) and you may not be able to bolt the rears down properly (never tried to install the 5th gen coils with my 4th gen rear valve cover). I'm running 2000 front and rear coils on my 4th gen but I am using the 5th gen rear valve cover. The front coils bolted in with no issues.

the bolts for the rear are diffrent size. you probley could use one of the bolts off the 4th gen coil pack and put a washer on it.(5th gen rear coil). ghetto, yes but probley would work. if you need a rear coil for a 4th gen i have some for sale
