Beautiful pics. Beautiful interior. Love the ****. I was considering the AE **** again but after seeing the Z ****....damn.

Out of curiosity though, Is the Courtesy STS the same as the B&M? It looks identical. I got the Courtesy STS on my 99 years ago for $85 and the contents of the box in the picture above look the same, minus the ****.

Thanks, the praise is really appreciated. Just looked up the Courtesy shifter, looks to be an exact replica of the B&M, although on their site it is no longer available.

I know right? Dad tried to throw it away, but I convinced him not to..... Now it is sitting on top of my desk . I wonder if anybody actually wants this ****?

Yeah, that really was weird that the one with red stitching is more expensive. You would think that they would be the same price. I personally would not buy that **** though...... too tacky unless you have an interior to match.

Dang! Freaking Ebay! I looked there before buying, but there weren't any listed at the time. Actually I ended up buying the B&M from Advance Auto Parts for the same price as one from Amazon + shipping (Got the last one in their warehouse!). Advance, Autozone, and I think maybe O'Reilys are all official B&M distributors.

It is actually cheaper: http://www.courtesyparts.com/z32/index.html

I figured it would be more expensive because all the fanbois would want one, it's not for me but I'm almost considering buying it since it'll save me ten bucks

The shifter is the one thing that I really dislike about the A32's interior, this should fix that nicely.

ya, inorder to find it on ebay for that seller you had to search the part number: 45087, cause in the ebay listing they dont list maxima as one of the vehicles the sts fits.

Oops meant to say: Can't believe its cheaper, seems with its JDM mad tyte red stitching it would be more expensive.

When I bought my B&M 3.5 years ago the box contents looked identical to what was posted in this thread. Everything included, and all very high quality. Love it to this day.

Which I think is stupid for the seller to do because our cars are generally more popular then those cars and mostly everyone thats on the .org wants to do an STS.

So you said you got a shortened shift boot, 1.5" shorter and it wasn't short enough. If I were to go the same route, do you think the 2" or 2.2" shorter would be the better option? It is hard to tell just from looking at the pics.

I have to say, normally I don't really follow suit, but sure enough I managed to order a B&M, Z32 **** and am about to order a shift boot. I've always found the stock **** and ski-pole shifter combination to be a huge eyesore of any Maxima interior, and really the only eyesore of the 4th gen interior.

Well, If you like it the way it is in the pics, then go for 1.5'' shorter. The boot actually tucks up into the Z32 shifter a bit. But if you want to get rid of some of the slack then I would say to go for 2'' shorter.

how much did the shift stick length go down in length? a decent amount? I would like to get it for the shorter throws as well as a shorter stick...

Shifter length is down 1.5''. Hence why we went for the 1.5'' shorter boot. What we didn't take into consideration is that the **** we bought is countersunk. So if you plan on reusing the stock **** or even the AE ****, it will be lower, but not quite as low as ours.
