the fogs deff. wont fit unless the pieces are cut out. I am wondering if thats what is normally done on these aftermarket bumpers, so i need some one who has bought one of these before.

Just cut out the pieces that are there and grind down the excess stubs left behind. Should fit your fog lights no problem. Just to be sure make sure you measure the brackets with the fog light area before cutting and what not. I have aftermarket fog lights and I just cut away the middle piece to install the brackets and light.

Be sure to measure so you know it can fit.

The bumper you got is for the gxe since gxes' don't have fog lights standard so it's the same but with those annoying pieces through the middle.

Yes, you got the right bumper...Non fog bumpers would have a solid piece where the fogs would be not a bar. I had the same thing when I bought a 97 front for my 95. I didnt have fogs, but I personally like the look of the bar with no fogs...but thats me...

Cliffs: Dont worry you got the right one. Just cut out the little bars.

I thought that the 95-96 gxe's had a solid piece and the 97-99's had the bar. but i'm not shure, anyway you say you got a bumper for yours and it had the same thing as mine?

97-99 don't have solid covers where the fog lights go. I'm pretty sure it has the bar and all you have to do is cut it out and sand it down and you're good to go.

the 95-96 are the ones with the solid covers and the not-so-good-looking front bumpers.

Forgive me if I'm wrong but I think I'm right.
(Reason I'm saying this is because I have a 1999 GXE and cut out the middle bar piece to install my fog lights)
