Tein Coilover Setup...
Does Tien make a Super Street setup for the 4th gen Maxima ?? I was looking at some part numbers and didnt see it.
Anyway, if they dont make it for the 4th gen, can I use the 5th gen Tein SS setup on my 4th gen ?? I figure its ALL the same and why wouldnt it work.
If both those answers above are no, how are the Tein Basics on the Maxima ?? Ride quality ?? Adjustabilty ??

TEIN does not make the SS for our cars. the 5th gen top hat bolt pattern is slightly different than the 4th gen. I do however remember reading about a 4th gen owner with the Tein SS setup but I think that was the only one. maybe you can drill out a new hole pattern and weld the original holes up?? im not sure about the lower mounting holes though.
The Tein Basic is a very streetable coilover. Meant for comfort in mind. Obviously it has height adjustment but lacks any sort of dampening adjustment. The OEM upper strut mount will need to be used as one is not provided with the coilover. Overall a VERY decent CO for those who want the height adjustability and comfortability. the ONLY problem i've heard is that the lower mounts needed to be drilled slightly larger as the two bolts wouldnt slide through. no biggy.

Im still waiting for them to settle because at the moment the car is sitting quite high.
My set had no issues with the lower mounting holes. My bolts fit into them fine.
