E-10!

now that florida is switching over to e-10. im worried. cuz i have been researching it and there are reports of it stalling engines and causing "vapor lock" in hot weather. so you maxima experts let me know what you think. can the vq engine handle this new fuel or will i get stuck in hot weather.

Isn't this what the north runs during the winter? I assume E stands for Ethanol and 10 stands for 10%. If that is the case, then we run that crap up here...and who knows...maybe all year round. I do see more and more stickers for it at gas stations and I've been fine so...you should be as well.

In Massachusetts, I think it has been around for almost two years now...I noticed no real difference in the switchover, but I use 93 so it shouldnt make a difference anyways.

same in va. however i would stay in the 93 range...I have seen a little hesitation, and had to deal with it on 89.

shell is the same as everybody else, my max runs perfect on 89 with a pint of castrol gas treatment. 175,000 and going strong!!!
