Would it be pointless to upgrade to a catman y-pipe and a high flow cat if I kept a stock exhaust? I want the additional power, but wanted to keep it real stelthy (i.e. no big exhaust tip or loud exhaust).

I read in one post of someone measured 89db with the stillen exhaust, and thats just too loud. Of all the options out there which is the quietest?

Gains from most aftermarket exhaust are minimal, from what I'm hearing (2-3hp). Just yesterday I was thinking of going back to my factory exhaust to quiet things down a bit.
I have an intake, Y pipe, B pipe, and the Nakayama muffler. Quiet on the highway but noisy from 2-3k RPM's.

I have stock exhaust and a y-pipe and it made a HUGE difference. I think that you need to have an intake to really make it worth it, but a lot of people keep the stock muffler and just change everything else, with little loss in performance.

I've got the Stillen intake, Cattman y and RT cat with the stock exhaust. I'm thinking about getting the B-pipe. from what i've heard, leaving the stock exhaust on doesn't hurt you too much. only problem i have with it is that it looks real cheesy with the chrome cover.
