Idle weirdness/ A/C comp going on?

Hi everyone,
I had the IACV cleaned and TB and now I am having some issues, as per my other thread, high idle speed. When the car was cold the idle was about 1,500, and after running for 20 seconds or so it dropped slowly to about 1,300. After it was warmed up, it was down to about 900-1,000 in park. BUt now I just noticed that my AC compressor is going on and off in about 20 or so second intervals with the HVAC system totally off. What the hell is wrong with my car. At the moment I have two codes, 0503, and 0303, front o2 sensors. BUt the codes were there before the IACV and TB cleaning. What can I check? What might be the deal with the AC compressor?

Why would a simple cleaning of the TB and IACV require adjustments to be made to the TB or IACV? What is the TPS, and where is the TPS wire? Why would I pull that wire off to change the TB setting? I am very confused, please help.

Thanks,
Zack

Thanks,
Zack

The TPS is on the side of the throttle body.

A/C cycling? You sure the HVAC system is completely off, not on defrost or anything?
If it's totally off and your sure the compressor is still running you might have a bad hvac control board.

Your cold idle speed is normal. Your warm idle speed in park or neutral is just a little high, and if the A/C is indeed cycling you need to figure out why that is happening. When the A/C compressor is on your idle speed is bumped up slightly to compensate for the load. That's normal....

Why would a simple cleaning require me to alter the TB or IACV settings? The idle also seems to move around a bit. It is not consistent at a certain speed. When it is cold it is way higher. The AC thing compressor thing only started after the TB and IACV was cleaned.

Thanks,
Zack

A simple cleaning allows more air to flow around the throttle plate. More air in will give you a slight increase in idle speed. Your car's ecu should detect this and compensate with the iacv. The a/c running issue has absolutely nothing in common with the throttle body. If it's doing as you say, running at all times, something else is causing that. Troubleshoot the hvac system.
You might want to check the TPS. A hunting idle speed is an indication of a faulty tps. A Haynes shop manual might also be a good investment to help you troubleshoot the car.
