Swapping Driver and Passenger Seat Leather

I've noticed that my driver's side seat leather on my car is starting to show more wear than the passenger side. It's still in pretty good shape though. I'd like to even out the wear since I rarely travel with a passenger. Have any of you just swapped the leather from the passenger side to the driver side and vice versa? Can this be done without taking out the seats? Any tips or advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

They are different cuts. The passengers seat on the right (door side) has leather that goes down inside the manual handle. You can see it, just take a look.
