Please help identify this part

Hi -

I found this part underneath my max. I am not even sure it came from my car, but I normally only have 4th gens in my driveway.

Does anyone have any idea what it is and where it goes???

Thanks!

Thats from the EVAP system just behind the left rear wheel. Looks like part of the drain assy.

I haven't noticed any issues without it. So, is this part worth replacing? Or, should I just forget about it.

Opinions?

Thanks!

Ive been hassled with a P0402/P1448 lately and I tried cleaning out the Control Valve. I remember seeing a part like this and It ran off the Canister assembly

I wouldn't worry about it to much; or maybe get under the car and see where It could've fell off from

IIRC, it prevents debris from getting into your EVAP canister, so just get under you car and put it back into place, use zip ties in need to.

Looks as if it might be the water separator at the back end of the EVAP canister. Also looks as if the plastic housing in the upper right of the pic is broken.
