well to be sure you would need to say what projectors they are.

projectors can be put in the oem housing tho.

You can do retros into any housing.

But you need to find out what kind of projectors he used--they could be anything.

You need to know everything about the projector.

That's great and everything, but if you don't tell us which projectors you're trying to retrofit, how can we possibly help you???

Chances are, someone here knows whether said projector will fit/work or not.

I'm not sure how clean your oem headlights are. If they are anything like mine they look ugly and yellowing. Which is why i bought that r34 style headlight for our car. I retro-fitted in acura tsx projectors into those headlights. I did the work by myself and i must say i get alot of compliments and i love the look of them.

As far as those projectors your friend has from that civic it might be cool and all but if they are any smaller than a acura tsx projector it might look funny in the big OEM headlight. But i'm no expert so do wat you want and be happy. Peace.

If you have the 95-96 OEM headlights I would NOT reccommend retofitting projectors in those. The diffusers molded into the lenses would make the project a complete waste.

Wait a good God damn minute here ..... !!!!!! They are from a Civic? Why on earth would you want to ruin your Maxima by putting "Ricer ****" on it? WTF is wrong with you mate? LOL

No really .... find out where the projectors came from to begin with (your mate got them from someplace - find out) and if they are Bi-Xenon or not (meaning ... do they have a solinoid that retracts to allow for Hi beams?)

^^ yes, if it is Bi-Xenon the retro-fit is slightly more complex and requires more cutting to fit the solenoid.

Here is an example (my projectors):

I would recomend BMW x5 projectors, they are bi-Xenon and you won't lose your high beam. I had my set up for Four years now and I loved them. Check out my home page.
