97 Nissan Maxima Speedo Problem

Im trying to order a new speedo.

The dealer wants $300 for a new one.

The part number he gave me was 24820-0L900

Im in canada if that makes any difference.

This quote is just speedo not the whole cluster gas, rpm, temp

Can anyone direct me to an online shop that sells these...also i have a local junkyard but they only have altima's but the speedo looks the same are they?

im not sure if you actually need just 1997 year, i think you should be able to use 1997-1999 as longs as its not digital. not sure.

You will need a 95-97 speedometer. White or Black Face. Doesn't matter.

98-99 had digital odometers, which will not work in your car if you have a 97.

Look for them on EBay, Craigslist, or here.

Watching E-Bay is good advise. I won a brand new speedometer still in the Nissan box with the dealer paperwork from 2003 for under $70.00

never buy stuff like that at the dealer.

like everyone said, check ebay. usually you can find one for like $20+.
also, analog goes w/ analog, digital goes w/ digital, u get the idea

The 97-99 are definitely white in the SE. Every pic here I've seen of the 95-96 SE also has white gauges, although I have never been in one in person.
