code 6?!?

code 6?!?

i checked the codes on the site and i couldnt find this one.........code 6 : key cycles since failure?? help would be appreciated

code 6? how did you go about getting a code 6? normally codes are written as 0304 or 0505.

well the guy @ aamco read it off to me.....the other code was p0336, which is the rear o2 sensor near the cat, so i figured that he was using the same type of reader.....ARG i feel like im going to have to go out there and read the code myself; stupid autozones dont have readers for 95's but they can read a 96 and they are the SAME DAMN CAR

since when can't AZ read a 95 ECU? What seems to be the problem anyway?

they said that i needed a odb 1 scanner; which they dont use anymore, its only 96 and up......but i thought the 95-96 were EXACTLY the same

Are you talking about the 666 code? Be careful the devil works in mysterious ways. I hear that most problems cars have are due in part to the devil. I suggest you repent and maybe things will get better.

Hey zoo, code 6 is not an existing code, the AZ you took it does not know what they are talking about. Just do the self diagnostic check and see what codes you are getting. It's real simple...

OBD II is located on the right hand side (check out the diagram in pmohr's sig), not in the fuse block where the parts places normally look. Much easier to get the codes yourself though.
