What do you guys think of my GAB?

I decided to save up and do either the oovi, DE-K or VQ35 swap this summer, so I decided to save my money and do the ghetto airbox mod this month. This may be the placebo effect but other than being WAY louder it also doesn't slide around corners anymore either. The car just kinda grips and goes....torque increase or my imagination? I also just cleaned my injectors and MAF as well.

What do you guys think of this setup? There shouldn't be any negative effects from the MAF being sideways should there? I appreciate any input..I'm new at this and trying to learn

placebo. airbox has nothing to do with handling.
it could MAYBE have an effect if you have an LSD but I doubt that the tiny amount of torque really makes a difference

I would guess if anything the cleaning had the only effect that you could feel, as there are a bunch of guys on here that'll tell you that the stock intake is best for overall power.

seems like it'd be better than your typical WAI setup.

That is probably less functional than the stock intake, for what it's worth.
