steering wheel vibration

when ever im on the freeway doing over 70mph i get a vibration on the steering wheel though its not a violent shake it gets annoying, especially when im on a trip that takes 3-4 each way. what can be done to eliminate or reduce the vibration?

Check your tire pressures - that was the problem when my wheel shook at 70

balancing and rotating your tires usually gets rid of vibrations on the highway.

tires are brand new, just got them last saturday they are 245/40/18's on G35 wheels. i had the car aligned about three weeks ago and i had stock 15" rims but i was still getting vibrations when i got on the freeway. now with the 18's the vibration is a little more noticeable but not that big of a difference. any other ideas of what could be wrong?

alignment was done before i got the new tires because i changed the struts and springs. ball joints still look good. do i need another alignment?

it could be that your brake rotors are warped... seems to be a common problem with older maximas that have over 100k miles on them.

might be a grip of things, but for sure it might be wheel balancing, jack the front end up and start moving tires around check for wobbles and loose things..
