AC system and O2 sensor Questions

Refilling the AC system: Do I just go to the auto parts store and buy some of that refrigerant in a bottle? If do I have to go to the mechanic to get the system pumped? I had disconnected the ac compressor from the lines...

O2 sensors, where is the best place to buy? The simulator goes on the rear O2 sensor only right(fed spec)? Where to buy O2 simulators?

If you don't mind splicing the wires and connecting into your old harness or something, get the 02 sensors off ebay. $20-25 vs around $100 if you get one with the harness connector.

If you removed the A/C compressor, unless you have the equipment to vac the lines, you need to have it done professionally. Vac, oil and refridgerant.

You need to rid the system of air and moisture by using a vacuum pump. Then charge by weight using a refrigerant scale. So tools needed to do job properly are manifold gauge and hoses, refrigerant scale, vacuum pump, oil charge and some r-134a. At least a $400 investment.

also check to see if the fans are coming on at the correct timing. I think my A/C needs attention at the moment as well.
