Well...

I have overclocked (85 watt) slightly blue-tinted bulbs, and I find they produce just the same power as the normal 55 watts. They look great and reflect a pure white color, and I would take them over stock anyday...

I certainly haven't seen any difference towards the better since changing to hyper whites... I aimed my headlights but I still can't see jack **** on the ground unless I am driving somewhere where there is totally no lights around and it's middle of the night. My stock bulbs were more visible! I don't really feel like paying 60-90$ for a pair of fraeakin bulbs, so what other bright WHITE bulb can i put in that is cheap? also i need a matching clearence bulb and nice fog light bulbs (for fogs i still don't have)

I have really bright bulbs, forget what they're called (Hyper Industry I think) but the light they emit is pure white. I had no success with white H3 (fog) bulbs, went through 2 pairs in 1 week. The first one was Eurolite, and the second one was Nokya. They blew a day after installation. Now I'm using stock H3 bulbs and don't have any problems.

Time to invest in some PIAA H3 Xtreme or Super white my friend. If you don't want to spend $$ on headlight then go with the Philips Blue Vision or Sylvania Cool Blue. All of these bulbs will give you the nice white color and not blue. Better than the stock yellow color any day or night!

Narva and Wagner 9004Bright Lights

Both are good choices in "brighter than stock" bulbs, and a pair of either is much less than a single PIAA bulb.

Whatever you choose, be very afraid of no-name "XENON" 9004 bulbs you find on eBay. Mine were $18.50/pair in 85/100W..

I thought I'd be shooting some retina-burning rays down the road; but they were so heavily blue-tinted glass, that they were duller than stock. Bluish-white, yes, but less night-lite than stock 9004's.

Who knew.
