better dash kits?

does anyone know if there are dash kits that aren't simply stick on? its not hard to remove your center counsel for example, and to replace the faces of each component...i have yet to see any kits that are made to do this. i think the stick on kits (double stick tape) look so cheesy...if you have seen any or know where any are available, that would be great to know

There is no aftermarket parts do do that... Its really not a big deal. It anything it would cost you 10x more... think about it. A stock shift bezel from Nissan is 84 bucks... $84!... Think how much it would be for one already made out of Carbon fiber or another color... It would be prob twice that or over $100.

It would be a cool idea though if there was a company that will Carbon out(carbon wrap) any part u want.

Here is a company that Unique Whips uses for all of their interior pieces. Not sure on the price though http://www.forrestautomotive.com/colors.htm

but think of how much nissan jacks up their prices? i mean you can buy a Nike sweatshirt for $60, and a non-name brand one for $10. Plus, if you just swap out cover plates, there is not the cost of any of the electrical components or switches.

i would think it would be very similar to buying a mounting kit for an aftermarket CD player...only more pieces obviously....and they sell for $20 or so. anyway, i got my answer...no one is aware of a company that makes these parts. there are a few that will custom color your pieces for you....but thas not really what i was looking for.

no company makes, or will ever make, those parts for our car (or 95% of other cars on the road).
