after market springs with stock struts? Any issues?

I am just thinking, Has anyone done this? My after all my sruts are fine, I mean I would love to put new ones in, but honestly... I don't wanna spend the $500 bucks for it if my stock SE ones are fine. I know it would be better in the long run and I will get a stiffer feel with aftermaket but I am on a budget and I just wanna make my car look nicer with lowered H-techs.

Anything I need to know? Should I at least put new strut mounts on? I will do anything nesscessary to get the job right and make sure it is good and will last.

Since the h-techs are only like an inch you should be ok for awhile. Eventually you will need new struts, but not as fast if you went with lower than h-techs on stocks.
