Starting issues

I have a problem with my 99 max se. The car doesn't start. I mean, it cranks, but doesn't come close to catching. The fuel is there as I smell it, but my mecanic says there is no spark. He says it might be the computer. HAs anyone had a computer problem? WHat would be the signs of it being the computer. I always thought it might be improper grounds because the problem didn't just appear, it kinda creeped up as if it would have a hard time starting and then over time it just didn't start. Any suggestions before i take it to a local guy who does electrical? I just want the car to start so i can drive it.

This is ALL-MOTOR. Have you read this sub-forum's description?

In any case, I'm pretty sure it's the NATS acting up. Does the security light stay on while cranking?

Based on what you said in red, it very well may be your grounds. Have any tranny work done in the last year? Regardless, reground your tranny and see if that helps, as re-grounding the tranny has solved starting problems for many orgers.
