Turn Signal Fuse Keeps Blowing
Turn Signal Fuse Keeps Blowing
A couple of days ago I changed my front bumper off my 96, to a 97-99. After all said and done, I put back the headlights, corner lights, and bumper lights. Now when go to go turn my headlights on, the fuse for the front signal light it blow. It would only blow when I turned on my headlights, when I had only my day times on the fuse would not blow. I put a new fuse in a few time, and the turn signal would work, but blow instantly when the headlight went on. Also to add to this, my battery light, and my hand brake light came on. And soon after my car left started for about 20 min, the lights started to dim, and it just died. I'm suspecting its the alternator? can an alternator cause all these problems?
sounds like some sort of short, i had a problem like this with my brake lights the fuse kept blowing, turn out what had happened was that one of the lights blew but after hitting bumps in the road it had touched the other filament and welded itself to it, it pretty much fried the wiring in the car had to have all of it replaced
so i left my car started today for 15 mins, and it died on me again. so i'm thinking i have to replace the alternator. I check the grounds, and there was one brake light that was blown, replaced it, and still the turn signal fuse blow.
