Factory Alarm Trouble...

I was hoping someone here had an idea on what to try to fix my problem...
For no apparent reason my alarm remotes no longer arm the system. I have checked and replaced the batteries and I have attempted to reprogram the car to the remotes. During reprogramming the car acts like it does not receive a signal from the remotes and just waits. Any ideas would be wonderful as I am at a loss.

Thanks!

Our cars are around 10 yrs old or more, it was bound to stop working one day, only thing to do if the system won't recognize the remotes is to get one of a parts car, or just go aftermarket which would be better anyway.

Fixed it!

Stupid fuse under the hood marked anti-theft (I think it is number 52) was not blown in the normal place. I took the fuse out looked it over and put it back and still nothing. I then removed it once more and noticed one of the legs were loose, so I moved it back and forth a very small amount and it fell out...

After further inspection I noticed a small amount of discoloration/corrosion around the legs where they seemed to have failed.

Long story short check the fuse and replace it if all else fails...
