O2 sensor issues.

Well on the way to dinner tonight the MIL came on. When I got home I pulled the code 0503 front right O2 sensor. The car has almost 102k on the orignal O2s. Should I just replace both the sensors at this point?? Anything or brands to look out for with aftermarket O2 sensors??

Replace both if you'd like, they may or may not die around the same time. If you've got the money or time, might as well.

I've used probably every different brand of O2 sensor sold in hundreds of different types of cars, never once had a problem (well I did once, but in that case the area around the bung was so rusted that it broke free from the pipe when I was installing it...good times Hardly the fault of the O2, however).

Thanks, that was what I was thinking. I think Bosch makes the majority of the OE sensors, so diff from OE to aftermarket should be minimal. I cleared the fault, if it comes back I'll replace the sensors.

LMAO
Mine went today too, but it was the P0420 which is in Bank 1, which I am assuming is the one near the Firewall?

Oxygensensors.com - I need to check them out...
