i want to do conversion

any of you guys in NJ area that can do it for me? trying to spend around 1600 for pieces, tranny, labor....someone please hit me up...i'm SO serious

I haven't done it yet. Chaz hasn't found a 5-speed yet and I have to get rid of my stock catback yet.

I have a 98 GLE and hate the auto tranny

. I would love to do a conversion but have one question does the conversion drive as good as the factory.

ive got two 5 speed trannies that need rebuilds that ill let go for cheap, one is a 96 and had the bearing fail and the other is a 98 with stripped third gear. let me know if anyones interested i was thinking around 300 for the cores. ive dumped way too much into trannies and i need to get some returns. shoot me a mail at peej410@aol.com if the price is right ill consider doing swaps in the CT area with a lil bit of help -pete

I was told that the motor mounts had to be changed is this true?
And if it's possible, can anyone post a COMPLETE list of everyting needed?(Please don't post the HLH0501 website)

why would you need new motor mounts?????? you are changing the tranny, you change the tranny mounts, the list on the HLH0501 site is the most comprehensive of lists you will find, because cbr2 worked on that car..
