How can I repair "door panel clip" area?
How can I repair "door panel clip" area?
You know...those plastic clips that always see to either break off or tear the weak fiberboard of the panels.
Was wondering if there was an easy way to repair the panel somewhat before I put it back on the door...I managed to tear a few since I don't have a "door panel clip tool" and wouldn't know where to get one for future anyway.
Just curious what others have done.

As for the door panel itself; You know, where the little plastic clip rests. Since the door panel is made of a flimsy material, it tends to tear when you just pull the door panel off of the door without the door panel remover, leaving the actual clip left in the door. I have actually tried placing the clip back into its slot on the door panel and superglueing it back into place. I made sure to also super glue the tear shut too. I don't know, it works as a temporary fix since I only ripped a few, but maybe there are others who have actually fixed the tears better.

I just went through this too. What I did was I glued the clip into the door panel before re-assembly.
